Lady Lions fall to Point Park

Pittsburgh, Pa. -- The Penn State Beaver's women's soccer team fell 0-1 against Point Park.
For this week's matchup, the Lady Lions of Penn State Beaver headed to Pittsburgh this evening to face Point Park for their second game of the season. The Lady Lions lost on the road this past Saturday and are now 0-1 overall, looking to gain their first win of the season.
Despite the defeat, the Lady Lions kept the game a nail-biter, matching their opponent's intensity and aggression throughout the game and was their best effort to date. Senior Brittany Zahn, who played goalie, had a commendable performance with at least 15 saves; stats will be uploaded shortly.
The women's soccer team now stand at 0-2 overall and will travel to face West Liberty Thursday, Sept. 13. Kickoff is set at 6:00 p.m.
