Sch. Haven, PA -- Women's Soccer Ends Season With Loss to Schuylkill

The Lady Lions ended their season Saturday in a PSUAC conference match against Penn State Schuylkill. They were defeated 6-2.
The first half was tough for Beaver as Schuylkill scored in the opening seconds. Within the first 20 minutes, Schuylkill was up 4-0. Beaver had a challenging time gaining possession of the ball and before long, Schuylkill scored again, ending the first half 5-0.
The second half started with some promise as Beaver's defense improved. But Schuylkill scored again, leading the game 6-0. But with 15 minutes left in the match, junior Bukuru Edisa scored an unassisted goal, putting Beaver on the scoreboard. Later, with 2 minutes left in the game, freshman Katlie Valiga also scored an unassisted goal. Unfortunately, that late comeback was not enough for the team, as they fell against Schuylkill 6-2.
As their final match of their season and the PSUAC conference, the Lady Lions end their season with an 0-9 overall score and an 0-6 conference score.
