Beaver Takes Home Impressive Road Win Against Penn State Worthington Scranton

Scranton, Pa -- The Penn State Beaver women's soccer team traveled to Penn State Worthington Scranton for another conference matchup. Beaver is coming off of a close loss to Penn State Brandywine and are in need of a win today in order to keep any hope of playoffs alive. 

This game was controlled by Beaver from the very first whistle. Beaver scored the first 5 goals of the game in the first 10 minutes, taking a commanding lead early on and never letting up on a struggling Worthington Scranton team. Beaver out shot their opponents in both halves of the game, and really controlled the ball for an overwhelming majority of the game. This game was Beaver's most impressive performance this season, and they ended up winning this one by a final score of 14-4. 

Beaver won this game easily, as they played very well and had this game from the very begining. Due in part to goals from seven different players on the team, Beaver won this game in a dominating performance. The women now stand at 4-8 overall with a 2-4 conference record. The team will return to action on Saturday, October 15 at home against Penn State Worthington Scranton. Game time is set for 2 pm.
