Mont Alto, PA - Beaver traveled to Penn State Mont Alto Wednesday, October 14th, to claim another win in the PSUAC.
With just a few games left in the regular season, Beaver's leading scorer, Morgan Stillwagon (Freedom, PA/ Ambridge) scored the lone goal in the game in the 44th minute, giving her 14 on the season. The 1-0 victory for Beaver also clinches them a spot in the PSUAC Championship game.
After years of building the program, Coach Schetka's recruiting efforts are paying off. The Lady Lions now have the top two goal scorers in the PSUAC as well as a goalie who ranks in the top three in the conference.
With just two game remaining, the Lady Lions are now focused and poised to continue their winning ways. Beaver's next game is against Point Park on Wednesday, October 21st, at 2 p.m.
