Beaver falls to Potomac State

Keyser, W.V - Lady Lions fall to Potomac State 11-2.

Women's soccer traveled to West Virginia Thursday afternoon to take on Potomac State University.

Beaver struggled to keep up with Potomac as the gave up 8 first half goals. However, that didn't stop them from answering back to score 2 goals.  

Freshman Edisa Bukuru (Pittsburgh,PA/Brashear) scored Beaver's first goal unassisted in the first half. Beaver was silent until the second half when freshman Cortney Harden (Beaver Falls,PA/Riverside) scored, assisted by junior Jessica Spina (Jefferson Hills, PA/Thomas Jefferson) 

Even though it was a loss the Lady Lions fought back hard and are ready to take on Penn State Brandywine Saturday, September 19, at 2:30 p.m.
