Schuylkill Haven, PA- The Lady Lions drove 5 hours to open PSUAC play, traveling to Penn State Schuylkill for the season opener.
Schuylkill struck first, scoring 3 first half goals to build a 3-0 lead. In the second half, Freshman Edisa Bukuru scored her first collegiate goal to pull Beaver with in two, 3-1. Schuylkill added a late goal to make the final 4-1.
In the game, Beaver out shot Schuylkill 12-10, but Schuylkill made the most of thier attempts, netting 4 goals.
With the loss, Beaver now sits at 0-4 and 0-1 in the PSUAC.
