St. Catherine, KY -- The Lady Lions closed their season on the road Sunday afternoon in St. Catherine, Kentucky.
Within minutes of the game starting, St. Catherine College got on the board with two early goals and then never looked back. Beaver, despite their best defensive efforts, could not keep the Patriots out of their end and gave up thirteen goals in the half.
In the second half, St. Catherine added an additional two goals to win by a final score of 15-0.
Beaver was only able to manage one shot on goal from Cheyenne Spencer (Riverside, CA / Ranche Verde). Beaver started Natalia Perez (San Juan, PR / St. Mary's School) in goal, Perez managed just two saves in the half. In the second half, Beaver started Jen Bacvinskas (Pittsburgh, PA / Brashear) in goal to offer St. Catherine a different look, but it wasn't enough.
The Lady Lions finished the season winless, but look to continue to grow in the 2015 season.
