Rochester, PA- The Lady lions hosted their first match of the year at Green Valley park on Tuesday; falling by the score of 3-0 to conference foe, Penn State Greater Allegheny.
Greater Allegheny netted two goals in the first half; the first at the 6:21 mark, and then at the 39:50 mark. In the second half, GA added another at the 73:51 mark. Greater Allegheny outshot the Lions 33-11.
In the game, Freshman goal keeper Kailey Bonner (New Brighton/New Brighton, PA) saved 13 of 16 shots.
Overall, Beaver played much better in their third game, and hope to build from it. They will return to action in a week, when they host Bethany at Green Valley at 4PM. Beaver currently sits at 0-3 on the year.
