Williamsport, PA- Penn State Beaver's women soccer loses to the Penn College Wildcats.
In Beaver's first match with new goalie Kiersten Manor (New Brighton, PA/New Brighton) and a team two players short, they struggled throughout to keep it together and deliver shots to the goal. In the first half the Wildcats were able to score 9 times without much effort. Beaver couldn't attempt even a shot on goal in the first half.
The second half wasn't much better, with the Wildcats shooting 12 shots on goal and Beaver only shooting one. Manor was the player who shined the most during the match stepping up and getting 15 saves. The player who had Beavers one shot was Meghan Odon (State College, PA/State College High). The final score was 11-0.
Hopefully Beaver can pull it together when they face off against Bethany College on Saturday, September 28th.
