Pittsburgh, PA- Penn State Beaver's women's soccer team gets shutout by La Roche College on the road.
Going into this game Beaver knew it would be tough because of the size of La Roche's team. With a rotation of players they were able to get 21 shots on goal and their defense held Beaver to zero shots on goal the whole match.
Goalie Amanda Donatelli (Indiana, PA/Indiana) did her best to try and stop goals from happening with 13 saves on the day. She seemed to be the only player with her head in the game but unfortunately La Roche had the momentum and team chemistry to continue to deliver shots to the goal in the second half with 26 shots. Beaver lost the game 12-0.
Their next contest is away against Medialle on September 11th.
