Lady Loins Fall To WCCC Again

Youngwood, PA - Penn State Beaver Lady Lions (0-11, 0-0 PSUAC) lost to the the Lady Wolfpack of Westmoreland County Community College for the second time this season by a score of 10-0. Beaver dropped an earlier match to WCCC on September 10 by a 12-1 score. In that contest, Brittany Martin (Hopewell/Tampa, FL) scored Beaver's lone goal.  

Despite the score, "the women played very well, and kept an excellent attitude throughout the game." Head Coach Dan Grant commented. Grant added, "I am very proud of the determination and dedication these ladies have displayed, despite some of the outcomes."

Beaver will face the Lady Falcons of Notre Dame College (South Euclid, OH) on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Green Valley Park at 4 p.m.
