Lady Lions Add to Win Streak With 101-72 Win Over Penn State Greater Allegheny

McKeesport, PA – The Penn State Beaver Women's Basketball team traveled to take on Penn State Greater Allegheny. Second-year, Emery Black (New Braunfels, TX) scored the first points of the game with a jumper only 20 seconds into the game. She followed that up with a layup. First-year Bailey Rieg (Pittsburgh, PA) had a jumper to tie it up. At halftime, Beaver was up 72-29. First-year Jaden Tesch (Chippewa, PA) started things off in the third for the Lady Lions with a layup. Second-year, Claudia Siegfried (Wilkes-Barre, PA) made a three to extend the lead in the fourth. The final points of the game for Beaver were a layup by First-year, Morghan Prevost (Houston, TX). Her shot pushed Beaver to triple digits!  

First-year, Katie Enderle (Darlington, PA) led scoring with 16 points, had 6 rebounds, 1 assist, and 1 steal. Second-year, Emery Black (New Braunfels, TX) scored 15 points, led the team with 8 assists, had 1 steal, and 4 rebounds. Second-year, Taylor Woodruff (Pittsburgh, PA) had 12 points, 4 assists, 5 steals, and 4 rebounds Second-year, Claudia Siegfried (Wilkes-Barre, PA) scored 11 points, had 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and had 5 steals. First year, Cashimere Ralph (Pittsburgh, PA) had 8 points and led the team with an impressive 6 rebounds. The team were 42-89 (47.2%) on their shots tonight. They were 12-17 (70.6%) from the free throw line. 

Penn State Beaver Women's Basketball is now 12-6 overall and 9-1 in conference play this season. The team will take the court again on Saturday, February 1st at 1pm when they travel to take on another PSUAC West opponent, Penn State.
