The Lady Lions would improve their winning streak to 8 defeating Greater Allegheny 113-83.

Monaca, PA- Beaver would get off to a sluggish start losing 12-7 with 5 minutes left to go in the first quarter. Brittany Jackson (Turle Creek, PA/Westinghouse) would sink two free throws cutting the lead to 12-9. After a Morgan Kurtz (Washington, PA/Trinity) three tieing the game at 20-20, Greater Allegheny would take a 23-20 lead into the second quarter.
Beaver would take the lead on a Jackson layup putting the score at 28-27. Khalia Adams (Washington, DC/Phelps) would add a layup giving Beaver a 50-37 lead with a minute left in the first half. Adams would make another shot sending Beaver into halftime with a 57-39 lead.
Asia Borders (Ellwood City, PA/Lincoln) would get Beaver off to a fast start after four straight points coming out of halftime. The Lady Lions would not look back from there. Adams would make a three pointer increasing Beaver's lead to 82-55 with a minute left in the third quarter. Borders would make a jump shot before half giving Beaver a 84-59 lead headed into the fourth quarter.
The fourth quarter would be dominated by Beaver after a Jackson made free throw putting Beaver up 105-79 with two minutes to go in the game. Mason Depetro (Pittsburgh. PA/Cornell) would make a three making the final score 113-83.
Beaver was led by Adams who had 25 points followed by Jackson with 22 and Kurtz with 18. The Lady Lions are now 14-9 overall and 11-1 in the conference. Their next game will be at PEnn State Schuylkill Friday and closing out the season at Penn State Hazleton.
