Lady Lions end 2014 portion of the schedule on winning note
Freshman Brittany Jackson's 27 points and 20 rebounds propelled Beaver to an 88-66 victory over Penn State DuBois.

Monaca, PA- Freshman Brittany Jackson (Westinghouse, Turtle Creek, PA) had a career night in the Lady Lions 2014 finalle. Brittany scored a career high 27 points, but more impressivley grabbed 20 rebounds in the process.
DuBois controlled the first five minutes of the game, leading by as many as six, before Beaver went to work. Beaver was able to tie the game at 9-9 with 14 minutes left in the half and never looked back. Beaver extended their lead at half to 42-29. Beaver's pressure in the second half proved to be too much for DuBois, who turned the ball over 28 times. Beaver capitalized on these turnovers, scoring 23 points off of turnovers.
With the win, Beaver ends the fall semester 9-4, and 4-1 in the PSUAC. The lady lions will be off now until January 14th, 2015, when they host Point Park in a non-conference match-up. Tip off is scheduled for 6PM.
