DuBois, PA--- Beaver defeated DuBois on Wednesday night by a score of 80-46 and have now opened up the PSUAC cpnference season 3-0. Beaver led the entire way as they led 42-22 at halftime and added on to that lead in the second half to claim the victory. Beaver controlled the boards, outrebounding DuBois 47-29 and also forced 30 turnovers while only committing 15.
Cassandra Flowers (Pittsburgh, Westinghouse) led the scoring for Beaver, scoring 12 points and adding 6 rebounds. Morgan Kurtz (Washington, Trinity) had 11 points and Brooke Mulneix (Beaver Falls, Riverside) added 10 points and 7 rebounds. Both Khalia Adams (Washington DC, Phelps) and Roi'Shay Woods (Pittsburgh, Westinghouse) scored 9 points and Woods added 6 steals. Amanda Temple (Avella, Avella) had 13 rebounds for Beaver.
Beaver is now 6-2 overall and 3-0 in conference and will have their next three games at home, starting with Friday night as they host Penn State Schuylkill at 6pm. They will play Saturday at 1pm against Penn College and Tuesday against Penn State Greater Allegheny at 6pm.
