The Lady Lions last regular season game

Monaca, PA

The Lady Lions played their last game of the regular season. Beaver played in a non- co0nference game aganist Carlow. Beaver lost both games,but played hard in both games and showed that they are playoff ready. The Lady Lions scored a lot of points today between both games, but also gave up a lot of runs. The Lady Lions showed their mental toughness throughout both games and appeared to always be energetic and cheering on their teammates.

In the first game, Beaver gave up 22 runs in a rough first game aganist Carlow, but showed extreme professionalism throughout the game. 5th year, Chloe Coleman (Moon Twp, PA) hit a inside the prak homerun. Carlow had a couple errors trying to get her up, but she continued to run each base and benefitted from the Carlow Errors. 1st year, Kierstyn Mays (Sterling, IL) made a huge hit in the game as well as serving one RBI to help her team score. 5th year, Valentina Sandoval (Miami, FL) and 3rd year, Makenzie Boyd (Beaver, PA) both had hits in the game as well. The Lady Lions lost game 1, but was hungry to split games with Carlow.

In the second game, The game went down to the wire. Beaver had lot's of success hitting the ball and made some great plays down the stretch. Beaver allowed less runs and made it interesting towards the end of the game. The Lady Lions ended up losing 13-9 in an almost comeback. 5th year, Valentina Sandoval (Miami, FL) finished the game with 4 big hits. 3rd year, Mackenize Boyd (Beaver, PA) ended the game with 3 hits and 1 RBI. Beaver tried to ocme back and brought in 3 runs in the 7th inning, but came up short.

The player of the game today is Chloe Coleman. She finished the day with 3 hits, 3 runs, and 5 RBI's. She played an amazing game today and helped her team today.
