Beaver played away at Penn State Brandywine today in a doubleheader. The Lady Lions lost two tough games today. The Lady Lions played hard and gave it their all.
In the first game, The Lady Lions struggled to score for most of the game. Beaver had a tough game but continued to play hard through all of the innings. 5th year, Valentina Sandoval (Miami, FL) and 3rd year, Mackenzie Boyd (Beaver, PA) both got hits for Beaver. Both players helped the Lady Lions remain confident in hitting the ball. The Lady Lions lost in the first game 8-0.
In the second game, The Lady Lions played much better in the second game. Only allowing 1 run the pitcher and fielding played very well. The Lady Lions still struggled to get any runs in the second game. 5th year, Chloe Coleman (Moon Twp, PA) got a good hit for Beaver. The Lady Lion's pitching was good in the second game only allowing 4 hits.
3rd year, Mackenzie Boyd (Beaver, PA) won player of the game finishing with 1 hit, 1 double, and 5 K's.
