The Lady Lions were finally able to host their First home game of the season aganist Central Maine CC in a non-conference matchup. The Lady Lions started both games with high energy and won both games!! They protected home field today and had fun doing it.
In their first game against the Lady Lions started off the game hot and scored 2 runs in the first inning. Central Maine scored all three of theiir runs in the third inning and made it closser of a game. As the game continued, the Lady Lions continue to pursue and score runs. They scored 7 more runs to finish the game and allowed 0 runs to win the game 9-3. The lady Lions played outstanding and rallied to one of their best wins of the season. Fourth year, Kylie Magnotta (Monaca, PA) finsihed the game with 3 AB, 1H, 1R, 1 RBI.
In the second game, The Lady Lions made yet another dominating win with the score bring 12-3. Beaver once again started off strong and had 7 runs in the first 2 innings. Central maine tried to stay in it but the fielding and hitting for Beaver was too much for Central Maine. First year, Kierstyn Mays (Sterling, IL) finsihed the day with 2 big home runs to help the Lady Lions have a hige with over Central Maine. Fifth year, Valentina Sandoval (Miami, FL) finished the game with 4 AB, 3 R, 2H, and 1 RBI.
