In the frist game, the final score was 7-6 Bethany Bison. Fifth year Valentina Sandoval (Miami, FL) went 4-4 batting with an RBI. Third year McKenzie Boyd (Beaver, PA) went 3-2 batting, which included a homerun at her first at bat. Fourth Year Kylie Magnotta (Monaca,PA) also having an RBI. First year Haley Cook (Aliquippa,PA) going 3-2 batting while also getting an RBI.
The final score of the second game was 4-7 with the Bethany Bison taking the win. However, the Penn State Lady Lion's continued to fight hard. Second year, Selene Lopez (Simi Valley,CA) went one for two batting but resulting in three BRI's.
The Penn State lady Lion's will be back in action for another Double Header Thursday, March 14 at St. Vincent College. The first game is at 3pm and the following game starts at 5pm.
