Beaver Drops Final Game of Spring Training

Vero Beach, FL -- Lady Lions fall to Sinclair CC in their final game of the week.
In the top of the first, Beaver gave up an early two runs, but then were able to hold Sinclair scoreless through the next two innings. Unfortunately, they were not able to generate any offense while playing solid defense, despite leaving four runners on base.
In the top of the fourth inning, Sinclair forced Beaver to make a few errors which resulted in the Lady Lions giving up 5 additional runs to go down 7-0. While the Lady Lions continued to struggle offensively, only generating two more hits in the game, Sinclair went on to end the game after six innings, winning by a final score of 10-0.
This loss marks the end of spring training for the Lady Lions as they head home winless, but ready to start the regular season on Wednesday, March 16th as they travel to Grove City College for a 3:00 p.m. doubleheader.
