Lady Lions Fall to Sinclair Community College

Vero Beach, FL – Beaver falls to Sinclair, now sitting at 0-2.
In game two of the day, facing Sinclair Community College, Beaver jumped out to an early 2-0 lead on singles by Dina Cable (Mannington, NJ / Salem County Vo Tech) and Rachael Charlier (Burgettstown, PA / Burgettstown), but that lead was short lived as Sinclair quickly answered with two runs of their own.
In the third inning, Cable was able to bat in another RBI, scoring Brittany Garza (La Feria, TX / La Feria) who reached on an error earlier in the inning. But again, Sinclair was quick to answer, this time with 2 runs to take the lead, 4-3. In the bottom of the fourth inning, Beaver found themselves struggling to stop the bats of Sinclair giving up an astonishing ten runs. This deficit was too much to overcome and the Lady Lions fell by a final score of 14-3 after five.
Leading the way was Cable who went 2 for 2 with 2 RBI's.
The Lady Lions return to action tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. as they face hometown rival, Carlow University.
