Beaver Drops Double Header to Brandywine

Garnet Valley, PA-- Penn State Brandywine hosted Penn State Beaver Sunday Afternoon.

In the first inning Brandywine scored six runs to get a lead on Beaver early.

In the second inning, Beaver answered back with two runs of its own. Amanda Habedank (Nevile Island, PA/Cornell) doubled sending Stephanie Waxler (Rochester, PA/Rochester) and Rachael Charlier (Burgettstown, PA/Burgettstown) home making the game 6-2.

Brandywine answered back with six runs in the next two innning's.

In the fourth inning Habedank singled sending Mason Depetro (Coraopolis, Pa/Cornell) home making the score 12-3.

In the fifth inning Charlier singled sending Asia Borders (Ellwood City, PA/Lincoln) home. But the inning wasnt strong enough for a come back.

Beaver lost 12-4 to Brandywine.

In the second matchup of the double header. Beaver went up 1-0 in the first inning Rachel Borrell (Dowington, PA/Dowingtown East) singled sending Habedank home.

Brandywine scored 15 runs in the next two inning's holding Beaver scoreless.

Beaver could not find any mommentum or a spark to string runs together.

Beaver lost 15-1.

Beaver's next game is April 22nd a home game against Penn State Greater Allegheny at 2 p.m.
