Monaca, Pa--- On a sunny but windy day Penn State Beaver hosted Penn State Hazleton in a double header Saturday afternoon.
In the first inning Beaver gave up eight runs. Beaver was close to scoring with runners on second and third, but could not capalize. In the second inning Beaver tried stringing some hits together but it wasn't enough for Beaver to score. Beaver lost the first game in three inning's 15-0.
In the scond game of the double header Beaver played much better. Only giving up three runs in the first two inning's. Beaver held Hazleton scoreless in the second inning. Hazleton scored five runs in the third inning and scoring its final run in the fifth inning. Beaver lost the second game of the double header in five inning's 12-0.
Beaver's next game is Sunday at noon against Penn State Worthington Scranton.
