Beaver loses to CCAC South

West Mifflin, PA--- CCAC South hosted Penn State Beaver in a double header Sunday afternoon.

In the first game of the double header Penn State Beaver lost 10-0 to CCAC South.

In the first inning Beaver's Rachel Borrell got its first hit, but wasnt enough to bring a run in. CCAC South scored 5 runs in the first inning putting pressure on Beaver.

In the fouth inning Beaver had runner's on first and second base looking to get a run but couldnt execute a hit to advance the runner's. Beaver would lose in five innings.

Beaver lost 10-0 to CCAC South in the first game of the double header.

Unfortunately for the Beaver they struggled against CCAC South during the second matchup of the day.

Rachel Borrell started of the Beaver run with a single, causing Amanda Habedank to score.

However, the Lady Lions shiften momentum as CCAC countured with a huge run of their own. 

CCAC scored 11 runs in the bottom of the second taking further command of the lead and eventually the entire game. 

Beaver went on to eventually loose the game 4 to 23, leaving them 0-4 for the season. Leading the game for Beaver was Amanda Habedank with 2 runs scored, followed by Rachel Charlier and Borrell who pitched in with 1 run scored each. 

Beaver looks to improve their record next thurday, as they host Bowie State University in their season home opener.
