Elizabethtown, KY- The Penn State Lady Lions started their season off 0-2, falling to Robert Morris Springfield 15-2.
The Eagles scored in every inning execpt the second, pouring on five in the seveth. Beaver scored their two runs in the sixth. With one out, Senior Nicole Bowersox reached on a Single. Senior Lauren Pier (New Brighton/New Brighton, PA) followed with an RBI double. Two batters later, Junior Rachel Borrell had an RBI single to score Pier.
Errors were Beaver's downfall, as they recorded six on the game. Sophomore Miranda Robson (Rochester/Rochester, PA) led Beaver with two hits.
Beaver (0-2) returns to action Saturday, when they take on host Lindenwood Bellville at 11AM.
