Lions Win Final Game of the Season

Monaca, PA - Beaver has not had an easy season, losing everything up until the very end. Beaver win their first game on Senior Day when they defeated Penn State Mont Alto 5-2. Today, the Lions were able to pull out yet another win against Penn State York. 

Beaver started off the game slow, York scored the only goal in the first half of the game about half way through. The half would end with York up 1-0.

Beaver showed up in the second half when  first year Robert Chauvenne (Gerogetown, PA) scored Beaver's first goal after being assisted by third year Jared Perusich (Conroe, TX). The second, and final goal for Beaver, was scored by fifth year Ethan Paxton (Freedom, PA) just a few minutes before the game ended. Beaver closes their conference play with a two game win streak. 

Beaver will be back in play on Wednesday November 1st where they will be taking on Penn State Lehigh Valley in the Quarterfinals of the PSUAC Playoffs. The game begins at 3pm so stay up to date on all the action at beaverathletics.com!
