McKeesport, PA - Today Penn State Beavertraveled to take on Penn State Greater Allegheny in the first round of the PSUAC Playoffs.
It was a tough day for Penn State Beaver as they lost in the first round. Greater Allegheny came out strong scoring their first goal at 23:00. They also came out strong in the second half scoring again at 55:00. Beaver was able to to make a last minute attempt to come back scoring one goal at 82:00, but sadly they could not bring home the win today.
Sophmore Nadee Shakshir (Jerusalem) scored Beaver's only goal today. Seniors Ethan Paxton (Freedom, PA), and Romaine Thompson (Philedalphia, PA) both took 2 shots on goal. Freshman Gabri Barrett (Beaufort, PA) played the entire game at goalie for Beaver and had 6 saves out of 8 shots taken on goal.
With this loss, Beaver's season has come to an end. Beaver finished their season 7-9-1 overall. They also made it to round one of the PSUAC Playoffs.
