Losing Streak Ends for Beaver!

York, PA - Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer was on the road today traveling to take on Penn State York. After losing 5 games in a row, Beaver was able to capture a 5-0 win against York! Today was a huge win for Beaver after a long losing streak leaving them uncertain if they would make the PSUAC Playoofs. Capturing today's win against York puts Beaver into the first round of the PSUAC Playoffs. 

Senior Romaine Thompson (Philadelphia, PA) led Beaver today having 1 goal and 2 assists. Sophmore Nadeem Shakshir (Jerusalem) also helped lead Beaver in their win today having 2 goals. Senior Jake Ross (Munhall, PA) and sophmore Femi Oluwabusi (Bowie, MD) both scored 1 goal for Beaver. Junior Tanner Gillette (Monica, PA), sophmore Jared Perusich (Conroe, TX), and freshman Doran Yospa (Middle Town, PA) each had 1 assist tonight. 

Penn State Beaver will be back in action for the last game of the regular season on October 24 at 3 pm EST where they will be taking on Salem University, home, at Wright Field. Going into the last game of the regular season, Penn State Beaver will be honoring seniors Jake Ross, Jake Saldivar, Ethan Paxton, Romaine Thompson, and Jacob Kosuda for their hard. and dedication to the Men's Soccer program.
