Mont Alto, PA - Today the Men's Soccer team was able to bring home a win for Beaver, the first of the fall season. They traveled to take on Penn State Mont Alto in their first PSUAC Match-Up and finished the game with a 3-1 victory. In the first half Beaver was able to take the lead 2-1 and continue to grow that in the second half scoring once more.
Three different players scored in today's game as well as three different players had assists. Scoring first for Beaver was Sophomore, Nadeem Shakshir (Jerusalem) only 2:44 into the game, he was assisted by Senior, Ethan Paxton (Freedom, PA). The second score came after Mont Alto tied it up. Sophomore, Tanner Golletti (Monaca, PA) scored at the 42:14 mark with an assist from Freshman, Andy Baltodano (Miami, FL). Finally, in the second half, Sophomore, Osarumwense Ehihiamusoe (Atlanta, GA) scored at the 47:50 mark with an assist from Sophomore, Martin Igaba (Cincinnati, OH). The game was intense and was a real turn in the season for the team.
