Men's Soccer goes on Road to Earn PSUAC Victory

McKeesport, PA- The Men's Soccer team traveled to McKeesport, PA to take on PSUAC foe Greater Allegheny on Tuesday. Both teams entered the match at 4-1 in conference play.
Greater Allegheny struck first, scoring with 15 minutes left in the first half. Greater Allegheny would hold that 1-0 lead at Half time.
In the second half, Beaver's defense tightened. The star of the game was Beaver's goal keeper, sophomore Adrian Garcia. Garcia logged 9 saves, 7 in the second half. This opened the door for Junior Misa Garcia. Garcia continued his torrid scoring pace, scoring 2 unassisted goals in the final 20 minutes to give Beaver the 2-1 win.
With the win, Beaver now sits at 8-3 overall, but more inportantly, 5-1 in PSUAC play. Beaver will return to action Friday, October 8th, when they host Villa Maria in a USCAA match up.
