PSU Beaver Men's Soccer pushes it to Five in a Row- Defeat Villa Maria 9-2
Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer traveled to Villa Maria and came away with a 9-2 victory.

Buffalo, NY- The Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer team traveled north on Tuesday, four hours north, to take on USCAA opponent Villa Maria. The long trip did not seem to have any affect on the Lions.
The Vikings struck first, scoring 13:30 into the match to take a 1-0 lead. After that, Beaver scored 9 unanswered goals to build a commanding 9-1 lead. Villa Maria scored another goal with under 10 minutes left to bring the final score to 9-2. Beaver led at half time 5-1.
In the victory, Junior Misa Garcia continued his hot pace, scoring 3 goals and logging 1 assists (7 Points). Junior Jake Ross netted a pair of goals as well. Also scoring goals were Freshman Oluwabusi Oluwanifemi, Inioluwa Muyiwa, and Angel Patino as well as sophomore Frederick Riedel. Jake Saldivar and Ethan Paxton both logged assists as well.
With the victory, Beaver now sits at 5-1 and 1-0 in PSUAC play. The Lions return to action this weekend when they take their first cross over weekend. They will take on Scranton on Saturday and then trun around and play Lehigh Valley on Sunday. Gametimes are 3 and 12pm respectively.
