Wilkes Barre, PA -- Men roll to 2-0 in the PSUAC with a win over Penn State Wilkes Barre.
After traveling across the state, the men looked to earn their second win in the conference, and got things started early with an opening goal from Sarath Santhoshkumar at the 4:13 mark. But less than 15 minutes later, Wilkes Barre would even the score.
With the game tied at 1-1, Beaver turned up the heat on offense, scoring 4 unanswered goals in the first half to take a 5-1 lead into the break. In the second half the Beaver men just played keep away, holding the Wilkes Barre squad scoreless.
Beaver outshot Wilkes Barre 35-7 in the match, domainting the field in all aspects of the game.
The return to action tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 p.m. as they continue their weekend roadtrip at Penn State Worthington Scranton.
