Pittsburgh, PA -- Men's Soccer traveled to Pittsburgh tonight to battle USCAA opponent Carlow University for their final regular season game.
Beaver fell by a final score of 1-0, as they finished off their regular season with this loss to Carlow University. The game was a closely fought battle, as the two teams squared off on a cold night in Pittsburgh. Carlow took a 1-0 lead in the first half, and that was all they would need to take home the win in this one, as neither team would score in the second half. The game was kept close due in part to good goaltending by Beaver's Sam Sharpless.
Beaver will compete in the PSUAC playoffs again this season securing a #2 seed and earning a first round bye. The Lions will know their opponent after the completion of the first round games on October 29th. Round two is slated for October 31st at Green Valley Park, time to be determined based on opponent.
