Pittsburgh, PA - Beaver traveled to Highmark Stadium, the home to the Riverhounds, to take on Penn State Hazelton in the PSUAC Semi-finals defeating them 5-2.
Beaver played Thursday afteernoon and claimed victory to get them one step closer to winning the PSUAC Championship. Beaver started the game off well with freshman, Julius Illiano (Harrisburg, PA/ Central Dauphin) scoring just after 6 minutes from a penalty kick. Hazelton equalized a few minutes later, but that didn't hold Beaver back, instantly responding was Illiano again with another penalty kick. Hazelton managed to get a penalty of their own in the 24th minute, tieing the game 2-2. Illiano wouldn't stop there, scoring a hattrick in the game, with a third penalty kick, giving Beaver the 3-2 advantage over Hazelton in the 29th minute.
