York, PA - Beaver traveled to York Saturday afternoon to take on Penn State York where Beaver lost 2-0.
Beaver had a tough start as soon as the game began, at the 57 second mark, Julius Illiano (Pittsburgh, PA/ Chartiers Valley) had recieved a yellow card, his third one of the season. Beaver have only conceded 22 goals all season, but Steve Miller for York brought it to 23 when he scored in the 33rd minute. It was quiet for the rest of the half. Both teams kept battling for goals but York were successful once again when they scored in 77th minute of the second half. It was a slow game for each team, both teams fought every second of the game. Beaver finished the game with an overall 20 fouls and York with 17.
The was Beaver's second to last game of the season, they have had a very successful one with 9 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw overall so far. This game only being their second loss in the conference, they are now 7-2 in the PSUAC. Beaver managed to achieve a goal ratio of 4.2 goals a game scoring 59 goalsoverall so far this season.
Beaver's season is coming to an end, they will be playing in their last conference game, Sunday, October 18, against Valley Forge at 2:30.
