Pittsburgh, PA--- Penn State Beaver played Point Park University this afternoon at Highmark Stadium.
In the first half, Point Park scored early, in the 7th minute, to take a 1-0 lead. Beaver then kept them off the board until the 23rd minute, when they added their second goal of the half. Despite the Lions defensive efforts, Point Park went into halftime up 3-0.
In the second half Beaver continued to struggle and allowed 7 goals to fall by a final score of 10-0.
In goal for Beaver was Matt Cottage (Baden, PA/Ambridge) who faced 16 shots on goal in the game.
Beaver's next game is October 15th against WVU Tech.
