Irwin, PA--- Penn State Beaver took on Penn State Greater Allgheny at Norwin Sports Complex Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Penn State Beaver started the game flat, letting in the only goal in the match for Greater Allegheny at 2:38. Beaver then picked their pace up and Marcus Smith (Pittsburgh, PA/Perry) scored at 11:12 to make the game 1-1. Smith's goal gave Beaver alot of momentum. Dom DeMino (Moon Township, Pa/OLSH) scored off of a free kick at 26:30 to go ahead 2-1. Beaver did not stop there. Lamont Wright (Pittsburgh, Pa/Penn Hills) scored at 27:12 to push the score 3-1. Thirteen mintues later Smith put in another goal to go into the half at 4-1.
Penn State Beaver played conservative in the second half passing the ball around and maintaing the lead while keeping Greater Allegheny scoreless the entire second half, winning 4-1.
