Brandywine Controls Tempo; Beaver Drops PSUAC Road Contest
Beaver Drops First PSUAC Match

Media, PA - The Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer Team (1-5, 1-1 PSUAC) dropped its first PSUAC road game of the season to Penn State Brandywine (2-2-1, 2-0-1 PSUAC).
Brandywine controlled the tempo from the onset, limiting Beaver's scoring chances. Brandywine on the other hand, had several chances scoring on two opportunities, to give them a 2-0 advantage at the end of the first half.
Brandywine added another goal to start the second half, to up their lead to 3-0. Eventually, Brad Prinkey (Freedom/Freedom, PA) took a free kick that found its way to the back of the net to put Beaver on the board, cutting the Brandywine lead to 3-1.
Unfortunately, the Beaver offense was not in-sync all day, as they managed just three shots on goal and just two corner kicks. Conversely, Brandywine had 14 shots and added a another goal to make the final, 4-1, in their favor.
Sophomore keeper Cody Killmeyer (Langley/Pittsburgh, PA) had 10 saves and allowed four goals on the day.
Beaver will travel to Waynesburg University (Waynesburg, PA) to face the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, September 20 at 8:15 p.m.
