Men's Soccer Knocks off Brandywine

Unionville, PA - The Penn State Beaver men's soccer team improved its conference record to 2-1-0 when they hosted Penn State Brandywine for a 4-3 victory, Saturday, Sept. 18.
Beaver was down 2-0 at the 20-minute mark until Tyler Blake (Moon High School, Crescent Township, PA) scored off an assist by Isaac Houston (West Shamokin High School/Templeton, PA). From there, Beaver controlled the game. Two more goals by Blake, which were assisted by Mike Biskup (Center High School/Aliquippa, PA), pulled the team ahead for a 3-2 lead and, at the 63-minute mark, Beaver's Peter Williams (Beaver High School/Beaver, PA) scored an unassisted goal. Brandywine scored the last goal of the game at the 70-minute mark, but Beaver held a strong defense to take the win.
On Sunday, Sept. 19, Beaver will host Penn State Wilkes-Barre at 2 p.m.
