Men's Soccer Team Defeats Penn State Mont Alto

Mont Alto, PA - The Penn State Beaver men's soccer team won its first game of the season, defeating Penn State Mont Alto (Mont Alto, PA), 3-2. 

At the half, Beaver trailed 2-0, but at four minutes into the second half, Tyler Blake (Moon Area High School/Crescent Township, PA) scored off an assist from Matt Doerr (Slippery Rock High School/Slippery Rock, PA).

Blake scored again at the 22-minute mark off an assist from Brad Pinkey (Freedom Area High School/Freedom, PA) and scored a third time at the 6-minute mark, assisted by Doerr.

The Beaver Nittany Lions are 1-3-0. On Thursday, Sept. 16, they travel to take on the Tomcats of Thiel College (Greenville, PA) at 3 p.m.
