Beaver Drops in Final Four
By Noelle Miloszewski
Williamsport, PA - The Penn State Beaver men's soccer team ended its season with a 2-0 loss to the Penn College Wildcats.
Just three minutes into the game, Penn College scored its first goal. Although the Wildcats outshot Beaver, the game remained fairly even and the Lions had several solid scoring opportunities from Freshman Tyler Blake (Moon/Moon, PA) and Corbin Rogers (Perry/Pittsburgh, PA). However, Beaver could not manage to get on the board. In the last few minutes of the game the Lions scrambled to get a goal, but the Wildcats ended up scoring on a counter with two minutes to go.
The Lions finished the season with an 8-3-1 PSUAC record and were 9-8-1 overall.
