Lions Fall to W & J

Washington, PA - The Penn State Beaver Nittany Lions soccer team lost a non-conference game on the road when they were defeated by the Washington and Jefferson College Presidents, 7-0, on Tuesday, Sept. 29. 

Beaver started out well and the posession of the ball remained fairly equal until the 11-minute mark when W & J scored its first goal. Despite a good effort from the Lions, W & J dominated the rest of game, scoring four more goals in the first half and two more in the second. 

Beaver is 6-1 in the PSUAC and 6-6 overall. On Friday, Oct. 2, Beaver takes to the road to go up against Penn State Wilkes-Barre at 4 p.m.
