Lions Fall to Thiel College Tomcats

Rochester, PA - On Thursday, Sept. 3, the Penn State Beaver Nittany Lions soccer team hosted and was defeated by the Thiel College Tomcats, 3-0. 

In the first two minutes of the game, Beaver gave up a goal on a corner kick. The Lions rebounded, but the Tomcats found the back of the net once again in the first half and took a 2-0 lead. Thiel added one more off of another corner kick in the second half to take the win.

The Lions are now 1-0 in the PSUAC and 1-1 overall. At 4:00 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 6, Beaver will host the Bobcats of the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg.
