Penn College Defeats Beaver in Season Opener

On Wednesday, Oct. 15 the Penn State Beaver Nittany Lions soccer team lost their regular season finale, 5-0, when they hosted the Penn College Wildcats.

The Nittany Lions were strong until the 10-minute mark when a defensive miscue put Penn College up, 1-0. The Wildcats never looked back as they scored four more goals in the second half. 

Sophomore goalkeeper Cameron Fertenbaugh (Cumberland Valley, PA) faced 8 shots and saved 3. 

Beaver is 9-8-1 in the PSUAC and 8-3-7 overall. Beaver, now the #3 seed, will host #6 seed Penn State Hazleton in the PSUAC Tournament, 2 p.m., Monday, Oct. 20.
