Beaver Defeats Brandywine in Overtime

On Saturday, Sept. 13 the Penn State Beaver Nittany Lions soccer team scored a win at home when they defeated Penn State Brandywine, 3-2, in a PSUAC game that went into overtime.

In the first half, Brandywine scored a goal as did Beaver's Cory Anderson (Kane, PA). In the second half, Beaver scored first with a goal by Alex Dawson (Riverside, PA), but another goal by Brandywine forced the game into overtime. Beaver took the win when Anderson scored with assistance from Isaac Shaffer (Riverside, PA).

Beaver is 3-1 in the conference and 3-3 overall. On Tuesday, Sept. 16 Beaver will travel to the University of Pittsburgh-Greensburg for a non-conference game at 4 p.m.
