Lions Fall to Geneva
On Monday, Sept. 29 the Penn State Beaver soccer team was defeated by host Geneva College, 1-0, in a non-conference game in Beaver Falls.
The game remained scoreless as the Nittany Lions and the Golden Tornadoes fought for control of the ball. Geneva eventually scored at the forty-minute mark in the first half. Geneva attempted ten shots in the match, but Beaver sophomore Cameron Fertenbaugh (Camp Hill, PA) stopped nine.
Beaver is 6-6-1 overall and 6-1-1 in the PSUAC. The Nittany Lions next game is at 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 5 when they host Penn State Hazleton at Center Area High School, Monaca.
