Monaca, PA – Penn States Beaver Lions took on Penn State Greater Allegheny in a close match on Saturday, February 15th, 2025. The first half was a close battle between the two teams. Greater Allegheny scored the first points this half but Beaver responded quickly with Second-year Alex Green (Chicago, IL) making two free throws. Greater Allegheny would attempt to keep their leader for a majority of this half. First-year Ronyell Coston (Eastern Shore, VA) would make an impressive 3-point throw for Beaver helping his team keep up with Greater Allegheny. The remainder of the first half would be an intensive cat and mouse game of both teams keeping their scores close together. Beaver would end the first half down by 9 points with Third-year Jabari Gayle (Stafford, VA) earning the last points for Beaver in a free throw for a 37-26 end to this half.
Starting off the second half, Beaver would take the first points to catch up to Greater Allegheny.
