Monaca PA - Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball went Head-to-Head again Penn State Shenango in a riveting game that had everyone on the edge of their seats. The Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball team came in determined as the they started of the game with intensity. Within the first half of the game Penn State Beaver was playing strong. Going back and forth with Penn State Shenango as they fought to take the lead within this match up. As the period continued Penn State Shenango began to take the lead, yet Penn State Beaver did not give up the fight. As they fought to come back the ended the first period with a score of 35- 31 with Shenango still in the lead.
Starting off the second half Penn State Beaver came in strong still not giving up the fight. Although they were determined so was Shenango as they started to gain a bigger lead within the first couple minutes of the second period. Penn State Beaver then responded as they started to make a comeback. Leaving them tied within the last 5 min of the games. After a tough fight Penn State Shenango came out in top with a score of 68-63.
Overall, the battle against Penn State Shenango was intense. Leading the game was first year Alex Green (Chicago, IL) with 25 points . Following him was fourth year Chris Green (Washington, DC) with 17 points. Next was second year Josh McCloud (Houston, tx) with 9 points. Lastly second year Xavier Ryan (Philadelphia, PA) with 8 points and 5 rebounds. While unfourtanetly the team fell short, Penn state Beaver fought hard truly fighting till the end.
