Penn State Beaver start the season off with a win against Franciscan 91-82
Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball secured the first away game. Beaver dominated for the first game of the season and brought back the victory.
Ohio, PA- Penn State Beaver led over Franciscan in the first and second half. Beaver scored 44 points in the first half and finished Franciscan with 47 more points in the second half.
Devon Johnson led for Beaver with 31 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals. Izaiah Dickerson put up 24 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 steals. Chris Green secured 14 points, 1 assists, 2 steals, 4 total rebounds for the game. Jeremy Redwine had 9 points, 8 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 assists. Alexander Avery had 1 point, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Nathan Coonfare had 6 points and Tre Johnson secured 4 points and 3 assists. Zach Carillo added 2 points on the board for Beaver.
Overall, Beaver's field goal was at 55.6%, shot 38.9% from the 3 point line, 45% for rebounds, and 25 turnovers. Penn State Beaver had 42 points from the paint and 12 points straight off the bench.
