Beaver Falls, PA--- The Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball team traveled across the county to Geneva College on Monday night for their final regular season game of the 2012-2013 season and was defeated by a score of 90-88. Beaver trailed 49-40 at the half and was unable to complete the comeback as they fell to 19-6 overall and 16-1 in the PSUAC.
Beaver got 26 points from both Rob Agurs (Pittsburgh, Penn Hills) and Nick Miller (Beaver Falls, Beaver Falls). Agurs also finished with 10 rebounds giving him the double-double. Chris Weathers (New Brighton, New Brighton) added 22 points and Markes Royster (Pittsburgh, Penn Hills) finished with 7 points go to along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists.
By finishing the regular season as the #1 seed in the PSUAC, Beaver will get a bye in this week's Elite Eight games and will host this weekend's PSUAC Final Four from the Beaver Fieldhouse. The semi-finals and finals will be held on Saturday and Sunday but times and opponents will be decided later on in the week.
